New for summer 2022! Located near Big Boa Falls and Python Plunge, this beautiful new plaza will feature easy, direct parking lot access for all guests, expanded ADA parking facilities, a new ticketing building, improved security procedures, a refreshed, still-exclusive Season Pass entrance for Season Pass Holders and Gold Members, and continued access to the Zoo through a new admission gate in Adventure Cove.

This new park entrance also means that guests no longer need to first enter the Zoo to access Zoombezi Bay – one less line to wait in now! To expedite your arrival to the waterpark, head straight to the new park entrance! 

Once guests arrive inside Zoombezi Bay, they will be greeted by a new shopping experience at Sea Star Sundries! This retail location will feature a new look and exciting merchandise and will be the dedicated location for strollers, wheelchairs, and Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs).

The new park entrance will also bring a new admission structure to Zoombezi Bay.  Through the course of guest feedback, we have identified the desire for more flexibility with Zoombezi Bay admission. Beginning in 2022, there will now be multiple ticketing options available. Guests may purchase a Zoombezi Bay-only admission ticket, which will provide waterpark access for the lowest gate price available. 

Looking to do more during your day? Guests can purchase a new one-day combination ticket that will gain access to both Zoombezi Bay and the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.  Plan on visiting for multiple days? Check out our two-day admission ticket that gains access to Zoombezi Bay on one day and the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium on a second day (available online only). Gold Members and Zoombezi Bay Season Pass Holders will continue to get access to both Zoombezi Bay and the Zoo while their passes are valid.
