Spin into summer on our new Tidal Twist roller coaster! This brand-new family roller coaster is located in the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium’s Adventure Cove region and is the first of its kind in Ohio!

Standing 36 feet tall and reaching speeds up to 30 miles per hour, Tidal Twist does something that most others do not–it spins! That’s right, halfway through the ride experience, the vehicles “unlock” and spin through the remainder of the ride.

Joining the classic Sea Dragon wooden roller coaster, Tidal Twist makes the Columbus Zoo the only zoo in the country to feature two roller coasters! Tidal Twist has a family-friendly minimum height requirement of 42” if riding with an adult.
